This week, State Senator Toby Ann Stavisky and State Assemblymember John McDonald joined a growing list of New York elected officials supporting Eric’s re-election campaign. Senator Stavisky applauded Eric’s efforts to “protect women from the Hobby Lobby ruling through the Reproductive Rights Disclosure Act,” while Assemblymember McDonald called Eric “an indispensable partner for Albany.”

Eric announced the first round of awards for the inVEST Partnership, a statewide program that has so far provided over $2 million to secure more than 6,000 bulletproof vests for police officers in Western New York, the Capital Region, the North Country, New York City and Long Island. It’s another example of Eric’s commitment to protecting the individuals who protect our communities.

Eric also issued a consumer alert in response to the massive online security breach resulting in the theft of more than one billion user names and passwords. By providing consumers with steps for staying vigilant in monitoring their online data, Eric is helping stop fraud before it happens by ensuring New Yorkers are empowered to protect themselves from online scammers.

This weekend marks two more Days of Action. Volunteers across the state will be turning out to register New Yorkers to vote–because everyone deserves the chance to have their voice heard.
