The New York State Attorney General has filed a lawsuit against a home improvement contractor based in Rochester.
It is alleged that George Frisch, president of Dynabuild Construction Group Inc., “repeatedly and persistently defrauded consumers” in the Rochester-area by receiving payment for sub-standard or no work performed, according to the office of State Attorney General Eric Schneiderman.
Frisch also is accused by the state attorney general’s office, of not returning promised deposits and spending those funds on a swimming pool and vacation. It is claimed that 11 customers combined lost more than $70,000 in funds needed to repair unprofessional work and deposits that were not refunded.
The lawsuit is seeking to bar Frisch from working in home improvement in the state, more than $70,000 in restitution and $58,000 in penalties and costs.
